Mrs G approached us as her soon to be ex husband was requesting a 50/50 split of the equity of the marital home.  Mr G was a full time employee, while Mrs G had a part time job due to being their children's main carer.  As such, she had a far lower income than Mr G, and therefore needed more of a share of the equity from the marital home to purchase a suitable property.  With a Mortgage Capacity Report from us she was able to prove her mortgage affordability and increased her split of the proceeds from the sale of the marital home
